Station 300 is not your grandfather's bowling alley. For one thing, it's big. The brand-new building at Buckwalter Place weighs in at 33,000 square feet. "Usually, a 24-lane bowling alley would be about 24,000 square feet," said Manager John Holden.

Hy-Vee proceeds with purchase of old Kmart property

Hy-Vee Corp. has exercised its option to purchase the former Kmart building, an abandoned bowling alley and a payday loan store on MacArthur Boulevard in Springfield for construction of a supermarket and convenience store.

Construction in full swing at "Wilderness of the Smokies Resort" expansion

The resort is building a 25,000 square foot "dry park" called Adventure Forest.  Inside the space will be laser tag, a ropes course, mini-golf and a bowling alley.
